The handy Quill is used for storing/carrying sticks whilst on the move.

I have one of these on all my snare drums also on a tenor which allows me switch sticks if I need to. Gives me piece of mind if I’m a bit clumsy, I just reach for a spare stick. I have also used the quill to switch to illuminated sticks for the odd black light show. Very pleased with this bit of kit.
